PLM offers a technology known as infrared patching. This process uses infrared heat technology to make a section of asphalt hot enough to be a workable material again. Then we rake the area and add new asphalt and grade as necessary to fill potholes or achieve proper drainage. Then we rake the area, add new asphalt and rejuvenate, then compact the mix together and complete the process. This method of patching has no seams which means its is immediately water tight as oppose to cutting an area out which leaves joints.
Infrared patching has been around for over 25 years, and has really taken off in that time period to become one of the quickest and most cost effective ways to perform asphalt repairs. At PLM we operate 2 full time infrared asphalt patching crews to meet the needs of our customers.
At PLM Paving and Concrete we are always looking for quality employees with strong backgrounds in the areas of service that we offer. If you are interested in applying for a job with us to send us your information and we will get back to you shortly.
