Did you know....
Asphalt industry studies show a 42-50% savings in maintaining a sealed pavement compared with the cost to maintain and repair unprotected pavement.
Maybe this explains why asphalt producers don’t recommend protective coatings.
That's why PLM will make the best protective seal coating and always deliver the highest quality product to our customer. Our product is backed by: - Third-party testing
- Verification of undiluted gallons of coal tar and total gallons of seal coat
- A 30 year history of satisfied customers
Sealer is a product applied on top of your asphalt pavement intended to form a top wearing coat which will enhance skid resistance and assure a longer lasting pavement life. Unlike paving and concrete, seal coating has unique properties which differentiate on product from another. We make the best protective seal coating and always deliver the highest quality product to our customers. The protective coating industry offers numerous application techniques. These procedures are very effective, but the underlying truth is not answered in the application style. After 30 years in business, we have perfected the best product on the market. Our coal tar and asphalt emulsion sealers are fortified with rubber and sand additives which achieve longer lasting protection to your asphalt pavement. These additives are necessary to protect your pavement from the destructive forces of sunlight, gas, oil, water, frost, and snow. Squeegee/Spray for Newly Paved and Porous Asphalt
The protective coating industry is now using the advantages of both the squeegee application and the spray application in conjunction with the surface condition of each individual customer’s parking lot. Squeegee First Coat – The advantage of using the squeegee method on the first coat is the sealer is forced into the hairline cracks and pores of new or porous asphalt to ensure protection. Spray Second Coat – the advantage of using the spray method on the second coat is that the sealer is sprayed on to of the pavement to enhance the skid resistance and give a thicker, longer lasting, protective coating.
Double Spray Application for Non-Porous or Previously Sealed Asphalt
Double Spray – the advantage of using the double spray application on non-porous or previously sealed asphalt is that the sealer is sprayed on top (of the already filled pores) to form a top protective wearing surface. You are not pulling the sealer over and away from the already filled voids, thus applying only a thin film as a squeegee application would.
